Factors Influencing College Student Volunteer’s Work Engagement in Sports Events： Based on the Investigation of Beijing 2O22 Winter Olympic's Volunteers PENG Xihuan （ School of Government， Beijing Normal University，1Oo875，Beijing，China）

Abstract ：College student volunteers are necessary resources for sports events in China. Given that the phenomenon of insuficient service awareness and job burnout among event volunteers occurs worldwide， consolidating and enhancing the work engagement of event volunteers deserves continuous attention from event organizers around the world. Taking the 2O22 Beijing Winter Olympics as an example， the article constructs a theoretical model based on the qualitative research method of grounded theory for the influencing factors of college student volunteer’s work engagement in sports events. The obtained theoretical model is then validated and improved by collecting sample data from college students. Research shows the influencing factors of this kind of volunteer work engagement can be divided into volunteer cognition （ including identity recognition， misson potency perception， self - efficacy perception ）， volunteer emotion （ including volunteer service interest）， job characteristics （including training program design， work treatment， work challenges ）， organizational context （ including organizational support， organizational incentive measures， team building ） and social environment （ including preferential treatment policies， important othersand social recognition）. Therefore， to effectively maintain and enhance the commitment of this type of volunteer work， comprehensive support and safeguards are needed from both the internal cognitive and emotional perspectives of volunteers， as well as from the external positions， organizational， and societal environmental perspectives.
