Abstract：Short videoplaysadual-roleasanemergingcommunicationmediumin thenarativesofvisuallyimpaired children.First，itprovidesaplatformforvisuallimpairedchildrentodisseminatetheirownstories.Second，thereisa risk ofreducing visually impairedchildren totheobjectoftheaudience'sone-waygaze，ignoringthediverse individual characteristicsofthisgroup，whichobjectivelyleads totheinequalityinthenarrativecommunicationofisuallympaired children.Basedonthetheoryofmediaecology，theresearchersexaminedthenarativecommunicationpracticeofvisually impairedchildrenenabledbyshortvideosanddiscusedhowtopromotetheharmoniousdevelopmentof thesocialintegration ecology for visually impairedchildren byimprovingtheethical standards increationand educationalapplicationlevelof short -video content.The follwing suggestions were put forward： special educators should reasonably use short videosineducational practicetofullyutilizetheirpositiveefects inspecialeducationandsocialintegration;Strengthen thebarrier-freeconstructionmechanisminthedigitalenvironment，fosterafavorablemediaecologyfordisseminatingthe narrativesofvisuallyimpairedchdren，andcreateanequalandsupportivedigitalintegrationenvironmentfortisgroup.
