Abstract：Ethnography has gained increasing recognition in communication studies.However，as new media technologieshavebecomeintegratedintosociallifeandtransformedtheparadigmsofsocialscienceresearch，traditional ethnographyisfacingchallengesregardingmethodologicaltools.Inthisarticle，basedonadialogueamongmethodological approachessuchasssoryethnographyethnomethodologyndvideobasedethnographyIproposeaperspectiveof moving toward multisensory ethnographic fieldwork.This paper discusses how new technological tols are reshaping themethodologicalpathwaysoffeldwork，withaparticularfocusonhow theuseofdifferenttools enablesresearchers toobserveandanalyzebodilyexperiencesandmultisensoryinteractions inethnographicresearchByutilizing theudiovisual datacollected inmyown ethnographic fieldwork，this paperalsodemonstrates procedures forcolecting，transcribing， and analyzingmultisensory data in the field.
