Research of the Adaptation Process of Multiple Subject Joint Innovation Teams

Abstract: “necklace” technologies have become an urgent practical issue hindering the survival of Chinese enterprises and the long-term independent development of industries.It is necessry to form multiple subject joint innovation teams for breakthroughs in innovation. However,the formation of an innovative team by multiple entities inevitably leads to issues of team adaptation.Exploring the adaptation process of these teams can eliminate barriers to the exchange of innovative elements and bring opportunities for the innovative integration capabilities enhancement.This study utilized Nvivol2 qualitative analysis software and used grounded theory to conduct an in-depth analysis of the multiple subject joint innovation teams at Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park to explore the adaptability process.Research reveals that situational assessment serves as the foundation for team adaptation. Environmental scanning identifies adjustment needs and clarifies“why changes occur".The planning phase translates assessment findings into actionable pathways to address“how to implement changes”.Effective execution relies on coordination and shared understanding to prevent “knowledge-practice disconnection”. Through feedback loops,team learning drives subsequent assessments,creating a self-reinforcing cycle of “assessmentlearning"that continuously improves organizational effectiveness.
