[Abstract]Ectodermaldysplasiaisagroupofhereditarydiseasescharacterizedbydevelopmentaldefectsofectodermalstructures.Itsoralmanifestationsmainlycenteroncongenitalmissingteth，abnormaltoothmorphologyndmaillofacialbonedevelopmentaldisorders，whichseriouslyectthemasticatoryfunction，maxillofacialdevelopment，and mentalhealthofafectedchildren.Inthisarticle，themultidimensionaldiagnosticstrategysystemforchildrenwithectodermaldysplasiaandtherelated progressofearlyoralprosthodontic treatment methods were systematicallyreviewedto provide references for clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of children with ectodermal dysplasia.
