[Abstract]Dentaltreatments forchildrenandadolescents haveuniqueclinicalcharacteristics thatdiffer fromdental careforadultsintermsofchildren'sphysiologypsychologyandbehavior.Thesedierences impose specificrequirements on theapplicationoflocalanesthesia in pediatric dental procedures.Thisarticle presents expertconsensus on the principlesoflocalanesthesia techniques inpediatricdental therapies，including theuseofcommonanestheticdrugsand dosagecontrol，safetyandefficacyevaluation，andpreventionandmanagementofcomplications.Theimistoimprove thesafetyand qualityofpediatric dentaltreatmentsandofferguidance forclinicalapplicationbydentists.
