[Abstract]In May 2023，the Chinese Stomatological Asociation promulgated the group standardof“Standardon ClinicalDental Treatment forChildren under General AnesthesiaOrsedation”.These specifications were formulated through broad-based expertconsultation，iterativerevisions，andacomprehensivereviewofrelevantliterature，ncorporatingthecollectiveexpertiseofnationallyrecognizedauthoritiesinthefield.Thestandard establishesaunifiedevaluationsystemandclinical guidelines tailoredtoChina’smedicalcontext，aiming toregulaterelated medicalpractices.This paperaims toprovideanin-depthinterpretationofthestandard，integratingtheclinicalresearchandexperiencesfrom thePediatricDentistryDepartmentofWestChinaHospitalofStomatology，SichuanUniversity，inperformingdental treatments undergeneral anesthesia inlast12years.It particularlyfocuseson interpreting keyaspects，including safety considerations，treatmentprotocolselection，preventionandmanagementofpostoperativecomplication，postoperative follow-up，andoralhealthmaintenance，toprovideareferenceformedicalstas tounderstandandapplytheminclinical nrartice
