Effects of Combined Application of Slow and Controlled Release Fertilizers on the Growth, Development,and Quality of Flue-Cured Tobacco: A Case Study of'Cuibi No.1' in the Tobacco-Growing Area of Nanping

Abstract:Thisstudyaimedtoexploretheeffctsofcombinedapplicationofslowandcontrolled-releasefertilizersontegrowth, development,andqualityofthefue-curedtobaccovariety'CuibiNo.1'inthetobacogrowingareaofNanping.Fieldexperiments wereconducted with three fertilizer formulas (T1:NPK ratio of 7:8:20 ; T2: 10:10:20 ; T3: 10:10:30 ),and the conventional fertilizer was takenas thecontrol(CK).Theimpactsofdiferentformulasontheagronomictraits,drymateaccumulation,nd absorptionadlaiofgdasasellastepcalroeticalmontssoylityd economic traitsofthecured tobaccoleaves,weresystematicallyanalyzed.Theresultsshowed thatthecombined applicationofslow andcontroledeleasfertlisdoiatimpactonteagrooictraitstsgcatlyicrasddrymateacctio. Particularly,therootandleafdryweightsofT3weresignificantlyhghethanthoseofother reatments.Thecombinedapplicationof slowandcontrolld-releasefertliers promotedtheabsorptionandaccumulationofnitrogenandpotassiumbytobaccoplats,with T3 demonstrating the bestperformance.Furthermore,thephysicalpropertiesandappearancequalityofthecured tobaccoleaves were improved,andthecoordinationofchemicalcomponentswasalsoenhanced.TesensoryscoresforsmokingqualtyofandT2 wer thehighest,hileT3pformedthbestinconomictraits,withtheoutputvalue,averagepriceandproportionofhgade tobacosignifcantlyigherthantoseofoertreatments.Inconclusionthotiebasalaplicationofowandotroled-elease fertilizershas significant application potentialin the tobaccogrowingarea ofNanping,and T1ismoreconducivetotheyieldand qualityimprovement.
