Abstract: Bridge plugs are more and more widely used in staged fracturing of horizontal wells,but traditional compression-anchored bridge plugs are prone to failure in large variable diameter wells.This paper presents a variable-diameter dissolvable bridge plug structure.Based on the mechanical and dissolution tests of magnesiumaluminum(Mg-Al) alloy material,the disolution property curves and constitutive parameters of the material were obtained.Adynamic simulation model considering the structural nonlinearityand load nonlinearity was established,and the sensitivity analysis was peiformedon the structural parameters of the sealing rubber cylinders and the hinged slip.The results show that the sealing performance and contact area of the cylinders are positively and negatively correlated with the side cylinder's end face angle γ ,respectively,which is recommended to be 55∘ 60∘ : The middle cylinder is recommended to be 65-7O mm long,in order to avoid structural instability caused by a too long cylinder. The middle cylinder with an end face angle δ greater than 55∘ is more conducive to sealing. The anchoring force is the most sensitive to the change of the angle β ofthe slip teeth,and reaches the optimum at β= 20∘ . The anchoring force is relatively less sensitive to the angle of tooth line α and the depth of tooth socket h ,and it achieves the optimal values at α=12.5∘ and h=6mm . The research results provide theoretical guidance and reference for the design and development of variable-diameter dissolvable bridge plugs.
