Abstract：Documentsandarchives needtobemanaged incentralizedmanner.Meanwhile，thedegreeofcentralization inthe managementof documents andarchives alsorequires attention.The so-calledcentralization degree of document and archive management refers to the apropriate quantityof documents or archives thatare centrallstored and managed in one place.Rsearch findingsrevealthatinthepaperera，the paernofconcentrationchanges throughout theentire lifecycleof documents and archives is： extremely low $$ slightly high $$ high，meaning that the concentration varies at different stages of movement，showingacontiuous upwardtrend from lowtohigh.Incontrast，inthedata era，thepaternofconcentration changes throughout the entire life cycle of documents and archives is： extremely high $$ extremely high $$ extremely high. A notable featureisthatinthedataage，theconcentratioofthethreedifferent movement stages isalmostthesame.Ithasben extremely highsincethecurrent period，andthentheoderofmagnitude intesemi-current periodandnon-curentperidare alsoextremelyhigh，butitshouldalsoshowacontinuousupwardtrend.Thesignificantchangeintheconcentrationpaternof file andarchive management in the data age is determined by its necessity，scientificity and feasibility.
