Configurationpath ofkey coretechnology innovation breakthrough in high-end manufacturing enterprises

Abstract：Breakthroughs in core technology are the driving force that promotes the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing enterprises.However，there is stillalack of systematic analysis of how to achieve technological breakthroughs. In this paper，a deep analysis was carried out on the interaction between technology，organization and environment based on samples of 76 high-end listed companies，using the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method and under the theory of technology-organization-environment. One finding is that breakthroughs in technology in highend manufacturing enterprises do not rely on any single factor like technology，organization or environment.Rather，they are the result of interaction between the three.Another finding is that there are four configurational paths that drive technological innovation，which can be summarized into two categories：Technology-Organization Co-Drive and Technology-Environment Co-Drive.
