Establishment of non⁃immunization vaccine hesitation scale for parents of children and its reliability and validity test

Abstract  Objective：To develop the non-immunization vaccine hesitation scale for parents of children and to test its reliability and validity.Methods：The scale was formed by literature review，reference vaccine hesitation measurement tool and Delphi expert consultation.After the pre-investigation， language adjustments were made to some items of the scale to form the test version of the scale.Parents of children aged 0 to 6 years old were investigated by purpose sampling method.Items of the scale were screened through item analysis and exploratory factor analysis to form the final scale， and its reliability and validity were tested.Results：The final formed scale includes 6 dimensions， respectively named children's parents the immunization program vaccine knowledge （9 items）， children's parents the immune program vaccine confidence （6 items），informal vaccine information adoption （5 items），the immunization program vaccination convenience （9 items），official release vaccine information adoption （4 items），children's parents the immune program vaccine related behavior （3 items）；The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total table was 0.891， The Cronbach's α coefficients of each dimension were 0.842，0.919，0.948，0.857，0.944，0.685， respectively， The dimensional folds were 0.670，0.872，0.859，0.869，0.929 and 0.793， respectively.Conclusions：The constructed non-immunization vaccine hesitation scale for parents of children has good reliability and validity， and can be used as an assessment tool for further verification.
