Status quo and influencing factors of selecting and recommending escort service for children of the elderly

Abstract  Objective：To explore the current situation and influencing factors of children's choice accompanying medical service under the organic linkage model of medical treatment and insurance.Methods：706 children of the elderly at home in Guangxi and Guangdong from August 10 to October 28， 2023 were selected as the research objects to analyze the willingness of the elderly children to choose accompanying medical services and the influencing factors.Results：97.6% of the respondents would choose and recommend escort service； The main factors that affect the choice and recommendation of the accompanying service are the inability to accompany patients because of busy work，the ability of accompanying patients to help their children，and the acceptance of personalized accompanying patients.In the ranking of the importance of factors affecting children's choice and recommendation of escort services， different prices have the greatest impact on children's choice of escort services， and they are more inclined to choose affordable services.Conclusion：It is suggested to formulate standards and charging standards for the accompanying diagnosis industry，strengthen standardized management， introduce market forces， promote healthy competition，in order to alleviate the difficulty of seeing a doctor for the elderly，crack the development dilemma of the accompanying diagnosis industry，and promote the long-term and steady development of the accompanying diagnosis industry.
