Chemical Evolution Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Groundwater in the Western Funnel Area of Hengshui under Exploitation Reduction

Abstract:Thisstudyappliedhydrogeochemicalmethodsandstatisticalnalsistoinvestigatethetemporalandspatialaatiosn groundwaterchemistryinthefunelareaofwesteHengshuiundertheconditionofreducedgroundwaterexploitation,alongwith thefactorsinfluencingthesechanges.Theresultsindicatedthatreducinggroundwaterexploitationslowedtherateofgroundwater leveldeclineibothdeepandshallwaquifers,withpartialrecoveryofwaterlevelsinthedeepfunnelarea.Reducinggroudwater exploitation caused the accumulation of both cations and anions(except for HCO3- )inthe funnel area.The chemical composition of bothdeepandshallowgroundwaterwasprimarilyinfluencedbylteratingcationadsorption,swellasthedisolutionofhalite, silicaterocks,andevaporitesalts.Aditionaly,duringtheperiodofgroundwaterreductionexploitation,fluctuatinsin groundwaterdepth and therateof these fluctuations played a keyrole in the changes in water chemistry.
