Abstract:InisrX-owerdiactoeerfraedoioeoeteraseraspctroeerebaio inductivelycoupledplasm-masspectrometerultraviolet-visiblespectrophotometerhavebenusedtostudythemineralogical characteristics,spectralcharacteriticscolourgenesisthispinksealstone.Theresultsindicatethatthepinksealstone contains main mineral talc auxiliary mineral cummingtonite,thecontent Fe Mn in" pink steatite"is relatively high, while the content Mn is positively associated with pink tone.The average content Fe Mn is 210.97×10-6 ,11. 50×10-6 in the lightpartthesample,teUV-visibleabsorptionspectrashowsanabsorptionbroadbcenteredat515nm,itiscosidered that the Mn2+ Mn3+ replace Mg2+ in the crystal structure talc may be the main cause its pink appearance.
