Current Status of Pear Variety Resources and Industrial Upgrading Strategy for the Pear Industry in Dengzhou City

Abstract：Dengzhou is located inthecentral plains region where the northand south meet，withdistinct four seasons，making it one of the suitable areas for pear tree planting. However，after decades of development，due to reasons such as cultivated varieties，orchard management，sales markets，and policies，the pear tre industry in Dengzhou has failed to embark on the path of large-scale production and industrialization.This paper investigated the main pear tree variety resources in Dengzhou，analyzed their characteristics，technical management，market demand，and economic benefits，and pointed out the main existing problems.Specific optimization strategies were proposed for the high-quality development of the pear industry in Dengzhou city.
