Effectsof Different Plastic Film Specifications on Vegetable Soybean Growth

Abstract: The plastic film mulching can achieve early market launch,which has a good effct on promoting growth and increasing yield.However,the effect of plastic film mulching is related to various factors,such as weather,plastic film type,and soil moisture.In order to explore the effcts of different specifications of plastic film on the growth of vegetable soybeans,six diffrent specifications of plastic film were studied,and the soil temperature and humidity,germination,plant height,and leaf number during the early stage of soybean growth were observed. The results indicated that when the environmental temperature or humidity was low, it was recommended to use plastic film covering technology.The heating effct of white plastic film was significantly beter than that of black plastic film.Using white ordinary plastic filmcould germinate2 days inadvance,and thenumberof leavescould increase 4 leavesafter 2O days of growth.Fully biodegradableblack plastic film effectively increased the height of vegetable soybean plants,with a maximum increase of 77.51% . This experiment observed and measured the growth of vegetable soybean in the middle and later stages,providing a basis for production entities to choose appropriate film specifications according to different production purposes, and providing a basis for forming specific operational rules for promoting the scientific application techniques of vegetable soybean film technology in Rudong county.
