Abstract：Inthecomplexbatlefieldenvironment，thedevelopmentofstealthtechnologyhasintensifiedthecompetitionof weaponsand equipmentamongcountries.Developing stealth technologyand improving thesurvival，airdefenseand depth strikecapabilityof weapon systems has becomean urgent needof thethree-dimensional modern war integrating land，sea， air，space and electromagnetic.This paper introduces the application backgroundand concepts ofoptical stealth and metamaterials.Startingfromthebasic working principle，several mainstreamimplementation methodsofoptical stealth metamaterialtechologyareitroducd，cldingtransfooticalsealthtchology，lasmapontealthchnology，ealthte nologybasedonmicrowave network theoryand phasemodulation type metamaterial surface stealth technology.Finaly，the development trend of optical stealth metamaterials isbriefly prospected.
