Study on the Aging Resistance of nano-SiC Modified Asphalt

【Abstract】 ∵ The short-term and long-term aging of base asphalt and nano SiC modified asphalt with massfraction of 2% , (20 4% , 6% and 8% respectively were carried out by rotating film oven aging test (RTFOT) and pressure aging test(PAV).The anti-aging performance and optimal content of nano SiC modified asphalt were studied by three indicators (penetration,softening point and ductility) test,DSR test and BBR test before and after aging.The final resultsindicate that nano SiCcan improvethe high-temperature stabilityof asphalt,but it is detrimental to the low-temperature crack resistance of asphalt.The three index test resultsand high and low temperature rheological test results show that when the mass fraction of nano SiC is 6% ,the anti-aging performance of asphalt is improved the most.
