A Study on the Construction Plan of A Dedicated Collection and Distribution Expressway for the Caofeidian Port Cluster

【Abstract】：Toestablishaneficientcomprehensivetransportationsystem forthe Caofeidian Industrial Zone，this paper addresses the port cluster's collection and distribution demands andthe east-west freight trafic pressure in its southern part.Starting from the functional role of the Western Passage Expressway，the study formulates an overall engineering scheme featuring segmented and multi-level designs，based on road design standards， construction conditions along the route，and trafic demand forecasts.The proposed scheme emphasizes integrating the elevated expressway with external transport links，planned public transit，and non-motorized traffic.By incorporating three pairs of ramps and a ground-level auxiliary road system，it enables eficient traffic transfer and seamless connectivity.The study concludes thatthis layered solution-using the elevated mainline for continuous freight flowand the ground system for mixed passenger-freightand non-motorized trafficeffectively connects the port areas，logisticsparks，and industrial clusters.This approach providesacrucial foundation for developing the comprehensive transportation system of the industrial zone.
