【Abstract】:Inordertostudythe mechanical propertiesofmechanical performanceofstelstructurerigidend plateconnection joint,anonlinear finite element model withcomplicated contactwasestablishedand verified using availabletestdata.Five parameters affcting the strengthand initial stiffnessof theend-plate connection were examinedusing parametric analysis.The numericalanalysis reveals thatthe diameterof thehigh-strength bolts, thepretension forceofboltsand the thickness of the end plate stiffeners had significant effcts onthe initial stifess and ultimate bearing capacity,whilethe thickness of the column stiffning ribs has a greatereffct on the initial stiffness but limited effect on the ultimate strength.The column axial compression ratio has almost no effcton the performance of the joint.When designing rigid joints,it is importantto ensure thatthe minimum thicknessof the column stifeners is equal to the flange thickness of the beam.Additionally,the diameterof high-strength bolts should not be excessivelysmall,the thicknessof the end platestiffeners should be greater than the thickness of the beam web and the preload ofthe high-strengthbolts must be applied in accordance with the specified standards.
