Study on the Influence of Snow Melting Agent on the Performance of Steel Slag and its Asphalt Mixture

【Abstract】： Given the environmental issues caused bythe stockpiling of stel slag industrial waste and the widespread applicationof deicing agents in road snow removal，this paper aims to analyze the impact of deicing agents on the performance of steel slagand steel slag asphalt mixtures through experimental research.The study shows that：at the macroscopic level，salt-based deicing agents have a minor effect on the physical and mechanical properties of steelslag aggregates，after treatment withsalt-based deicing agents，theresidual stabilityof steel slagasphalt mixtures shows aslight decline，whilethe spliting strength slightlyincreases；atthe microscopic level，salt-based deicingagents do not cause significant negativeefects onsteel slag and steel slag asphalt mixtures.
