Research on theMechanism of Improvement of Seismic Resilience of Pile Foundations Based on Supplementary Pipe Pile Reinforcement

【Abstract】:Inorder to improve theseismicresilienceof existing bridge pile foundations,this paper proposesareinforcement scheme based on supplementary pipe piles,the mechanism and influencing factors of the improvement of seismic resilience of existing pile foundations is studied by finite element numerical methods.The follwing conclusions were drawn by conducting sensitivity analysis on parameters such as pile length,pile diameter, and pile spacing.Adopting additional seismic reinforcement measures for pile foundations,the horizontal resistanceof thereinforcedpilecanbesignificantlyimproved,andtheinternalforceresponseofthepilefoundationunder dynamic loads can be reduced.However,the reinforcement effect gradually weakens as the reinforcement strength increases.The effct of reducing the deformation and internal force response of the existing pile foundation is more significant by increasing the diameter specifications and spacing of the pipe piles.
