The Phoenix Sings over Huainan： The Historical Evolution and Contemporary Significance of“Chu Essence and Han Charm' in “Huainan” Region GAO Xu ，CHEN Xiaoyao，ZHANG Zhijian

Abstract： The“ Huainan” region， centered around today's Huainan City in Anhui Province， witnessed two crucial periods from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods to the early Western Han Dynasty： the late Chu State's relocation of“Ying”to“Shouchun”and the establishment of the capital of the Huainan Kingdom in“ Shouchun”.As a result，a unique regional cultural feature featuring the integration and coexistence of“Chu style”and“Han charm” was formed. Huainanzi， written by the“Huainan School”of the Han Dynasty，represented by Liu An，the King of Huainan，inherits the“Chu style” and promotes the“Han charm"，embodying the spiritual connotation of the deep integration of Chu and Han cultures，and has becomethe most representative cultural treasure of“Chu style and Han charm” in the“Huainan”region throughout history.Systematically sorting out and inheriting the profound historical and cultural heritage of the Chu and Han cultures inHuainan City，actively leveraging modern digital technologies to achieve innovative empowerment，and presenting and disseminating the essence of Chu and Han cultures in the Huainan region in a diversified and dynamic way， as well as telling the stories of Chu and Han cultures， willhelp promote the development of the tourism economy and cultural industry，make the contemporary urban construction of Huainan more rich in the historical and cultural heritage of“Chu style and Han charm”，and truly embark on a new path of transformation that is like a phoenix rising from the ashes and resounding in the length of Huai River.
