Abstract：ThelimitedfloweringdurationandlackofcultivardiversityinCameliajaponicahaverestricteditsbroader aplication in landscaping and reduced itspotential economic vaue.This study provides acomprehensive analysis of the flowering processanditskeyregulatoryfactors，andsummarizesfloweringcontroltechniques，aimingtooferatheoretical foundation forthe development of new ornamentalvarietiesandyear-round flowering cultivation.The flowering process inCamellia japonicaconsistsof three mainstages：floralbuddiferentiation，floralorgandevelopment，andbloom.The regulationofflowering iscoordinatelyinfluencedbyendogenous genetic factorsand exogenous environmentalconditions. Corresponding management measures forflowering regulationareimplemented targeting thenutritionalrequirements， waterandsoil environment，low tempeatureandlightconditions，swellashormonelevelsofCamella japonicadurngits flowering period.
