Abstract:ThelimitedfloweringdurationandlackofcultivardiversityinCameliajaponicahaverestricteditsbroader aplication in landscaping and reduced itspotential economic vaue.This study provides acomprehensive analysis of the flowering processanditskeyregulatoryfactors,andsummarizesfloweringcontroltechniques,aimingtooferatheoretical foundation forthe development of new ornamentalvarietiesandyear-round flowering cultivation.The flowering process inCamellia japonicaconsistsof three mainstages:floralbuddiferentiation,floralorgandevelopment,andbloom.The regulationofflowering iscoordinatelyinfluencedbyendogenous genetic factorsand exogenous environmentalconditions. Corresponding management measures forflowering regulationareimplemented targeting thenutritionalrequirements, waterandsoil environment,low tempeatureandlightconditions,swellashormonelevelsofCamella japonicadurngits flowering period.
