Abstract: A bio-based polyphosphazene adsorption material abbreviated as HGES was synthesized by ultrasonic-assisted one-step precipitation polymerization of hexachlorocyclotriphosphonitrile (HCCP),genigenitin (GEN)and 4, 4′ -dihydroxydiphenyl disulfide(HPS). Fourier transform infraredspectrometer(FTIR)and X-ray diffraction (XRD)spectra demonstrated that nucleophilic substitution reaction occurred between—Cl of HCCP and —OH of GEN and HPS,and the synthesized HGES was amorphous. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images showedthat HGES particles were spherical and have an average particle size of about 254 nm.The average Zeta potential of HGES measured by dynamic light scattering(DLS)was -286mV . Research results show that HGES can effectively adsorb cationic dyes in water. The removal rate of MB by HGES can reach 100% within 30 min. The adsorption kinetics of HGES to methylene blue is consistent with thequasi-second-order model,theadsorption isotherm is consistent with the D-R model,and the saturated adsorption capacity is 52.64mg⋅g-1
