Abstract:Studies on the crystallzation,elemental fluorine distributionand surface properties of fluorinated acrylate copolymers would provideabasis forthedevelopmentof highlyhydrophobicand oleophobiccoatings.Block copolymers consisting of poly(fluoroacrylate-co-stearyl acrylate)and non-fluorinated polymer chain segments were prepared by iodine transfer miniemulsion polymerization,and effects of block copolymer compositions andthe heat treatment conditionson thecrystalization,surfacefluorineenrichment,and hydrophobicityand oleophobicity were investigated.The results show that block copolymers containing stearyl acrylate and fluoroacrylate with C8-dominatedfluorinatedalkyl randomcopolymersegmentsor perfluorohexylethylacrylate-stearylacrylaterandom copolymer segments allexhibit crystallzation andsurface fluorine-enriched properties,and form a“peaks and vallys”rough structure on thesurface.The surface enrichment of elemental fluorine increases withthe increase ofthe chain motilityof copolymers and heat treatment temperature.The increase in the content of non-fluorinated chain segments decreases the crystalization abilityof block copolymers and enhances the micro-phase separation.Thus,block copolymerswith suitable block ratios would exhibit beter integrated hydrophobicity and oleophobicitythan fluorinated acrylate-stearyl acrylate random copolymers.

氟代丙烯酸酯聚合物具有极低的表面能和优异的表面疏水疏油等特性[1-2],并可通过含氟侧链和聚合物序列结构、热处理条件的改变而调节氟元素在材料表面的富集程度,从而实现聚合物表面结构和性能的调控[3-6]。(剩余11249字)
