A Holistic View on the Translator Behavior Studies

Abstract： This paper discusses the holistic view on the translator behavior studies， specifically the external and perspectival ones as well as the issue of cross-category transitions under the holistic view. The discussion of the holistic perspective in translators' behavior study is necesstated by both the need for theoretical innovation in translator behavior criticism and the need for methodological innovation in the translator behavior studies. It can enhance the universality and explanatory power of the theory， as well as improve the operability of translation criticism.
