A Study on the Cognition and Behavioral Intentions of Foreign Language Teachers’ Use of Technology in China: A MASEM Analysis Based on Quantitative Research at Home and Abroad

Abstract: The study takes the meta-analytic structural equation modeling method to conduct a systematic search of literature on the cognition and behavioral intentions of the use of technology among foreign language teachers in China. The selected literature was subjected to variable correlation and path analysis. The research results show that the perceived ease of use has no direct impact upon attude; Perceived usefulness has a strong mediating effect and a strong positive impact on atitudes and behavioral intentions of the use of technology; The self-efficacy of the use of technology has a strong direct and indirect impact on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitudes, and behavioral intentions; The facilitating conditions also have a strong positive direct impact on perceived ease of use and behavioral intentions. The study sheds light on the promotion of the use of technology and informatization of foreign language teaching.
