1.TaizhouTraditionalChineseMedicineHospital，TaizhouZhejiang318o0，China；2.TaizhouFirstPeople'sHospital，Taizhou Zhejiang318O2O，China；3.TheTirdAfiliatedHospitalofZhejiangChneseMedicalUniversity，HangzhouZhejiang310o05，Cina Abstract：Jiache（ST6）point，a point of the foot-yangming stomach channel，is traditionally used fororofacial disorders but has recently shown regulatory efects on mental conditions.From a Chinese medicine perspective，located inthecheek region，Jiachepoint integratesyang meridian qi，unblocks channels and colaterals，and dissipates masses and relieves pain.Basedon the "zangfu-qi and blood-brain and spirit"theory，it regulatesqi movement and blod circulation，addressing both local meridian pathologies and systemicqi stagnation to improve theqi movement stagnationstatus，thereby exerting bidirectional modulationonemotional disorders.Additionally，through the footyangming stomach channel's internal connectionswith heart and stomach，Jiache point harmonizes heart-stomach functionsandsystemic qi-blood movement，balancing yin-yangand calming the mind.Modern studies sugest its neuroanatomical position inthetrigeminal nerve-denseareamay influence limbicsystem function via trigeminal-vagal reflexes，modulating neural pathways，neurotransmitterlevels，and neuroendocrine activity to treat mental disorders.
