Abstract:Lasers have importantscientific research and applicationvalues dueto their physical properties in multiple dimensions such as time domain,frequency domain,space,and phase.In particular,Tm and Ho3+ doped 2μm solid-state lasers possess new characteristics such as wide bandwidth,high gain,flexible mode selection,and atmospheric molecularabsorption,and have important application prospects in fields such as electro-optical countermeasures,medical diagnosis,new-band communication,and atosecond light sources.This paperfocuses on the research status of 2μm band ultrafast solid-state lasers,reviews and analyzes theresearch history,theoretical basis, technological progress,andapplication statusof multi-dimensionalregulationof solid-stateultrafastlasers in this band,and furtherlooks forward tothedevelopmentprospectsofmid-infrared laser multi-dimensionalregulationdriven byartificial inteligence.This paper willprovide areference for emerging research suchas wavelength expansion and spatial dimension expansion of new mid-infrared ultrafast laser systems.
