Precise Preparation and Optoelectronic Function of One-dimensional ZnO Core-shell Structure

Abstract:In recentdecades,one-dimensional(1D)zinc oxide(ZnO) nanomaterials have attracted widespread attentionand interestdue totheir unique opticaland electrical properties,demonstrating extraordinaryperformance in variousoptoelectronic fields such as light emission,detection,sensing,andcatalysis.1Dcore-shellnanostructures not onlyenablesurface modificationand the integrationoffunctional materials,butalso possess optical characteristics forradial localizationandaxial transport,aswellaselectrical characteristics fordirectional carier transport. This results inaricharryofphysicalandchemicalproperties,playing animportantroleintheresearchanddevelopmentof performance optimizationand functional expansion foroptoelectronicdevices.This articleintroduces thecontrollable preparationof1DZnO nanowire arrays and the precise fabricationof core-shellstructures,the research progress onthe photoluminescence and electroluminescence characteristics,aswellasthecurrnt status offunctionalapplications inoptoelectronicdetectors,solarcells,photoelectrochemicalcatalysis,andoptoelectronic sensing.Finally,the article summarizes and prospects the development potentialand challenges faced by1DZnO core-shell nanostructure devices.
