Abstract: Objective To investigate the influencing factors of postoperative malnutrition risk in patients withbenign maxilofacial tumors and establishanomogram prediction model, providing a basis for nutritional adjustment and supportive care. Methods Patients with benign maxilofacial tumors admited to the Department of OralandMaxillofacial SurgeryatThe FirstAffiliated Hospital of Shihezi University(December 2018 to December 2O24)were divided into training and validation cohorts based on inclusion/exclusion criteria.A nomogram model was developed using Lasso-Logistic regresion to identify influencing factors.Model performance was evaluated via time-dependent area under the curve (AUC),calibration curves, and decision curve analysis (DCA ). Results Age,prealbumin level, diabetes, preoperative prognostic nutritional index (PNI),preoperative nutritional risk screening 20O2(NRS20O2)score,and surgical site were independent risk factors for postoperative malnutrition in the training cohort( P<0.05 ). The AUC of the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was 0.808( 95% CI: 0.762\~O.854) for the training cohort and 0.763( 95% CI: (20 0.714~0.813 )for the validation cohort. Calibration and DCA curves indicated high consistency between predicted and actual outcomes, confirming clinical utility. Conclusion The nomogram model incorporating age, prealbumin, diabetes, preoperative PNI,preoperative NRS2OO2 score, and surgical site effectively predicts postoperative malnutrition risk in benign maxilofacial tumor patients but requires further validation.
