Correlation between FS- ⋅T2WI texture features and Ki-67 expression level in hypopharyngeal carcinoma

[Abstract]Objective：ToinvestigatethecoelationbetweethetexturefeaturesextractedfromFS-TWIimagesandthe expressionlevelofKi-67inhypopharyngealcarcinoma.Methods：Atotalof33malepatientswithhypopharyngealcarcinoma confirmedbysurgeryandpathologywereretrospectivelyreviewed，including15caseswithlow-expresionand18caseswith high-expresion.All patientsunderwentconventional MRIbeforetheoperation.ThelesionROIwasmanuallysegmented bythesliceonaxialFS-TWIbyusing Mazdasoftware，andthe Mazdasoftwarewasusedtoextractthelesiontexture parameters.The statistical analysis was constructed using the independent sample t -test to compare the texture parameters betweenthetwogroups，andthetextureparameterswereconstructedusingthecolinearitydiagnosticstest.Thetexture parameterswereclasifiedbydimensionalanalysisBinarylogisticregressionanalysiswascariedoutandapredictionmodel wasbuiltusingtheparameterswithstatisticallsignificantdiferences.TheROCcurvewasdrawntoevaluatethediagnostic eficiencyoftheclasified textureparametersandpredictionmodelfortheexpressonlevelofKi-67.Results：TheAUC， sensivityandspecifityofthecommonfactor-1inpredictingtheexpresionlevelofKi-67were0.583（95%CI0.361-0.806）， 77.8%and41.7%，thoseof thecommon factor-2 were0.644（95%CI0.432-0.855），100.0%and33.3%，thoseof thecommon factor-3 were 0.602（95%CI 0.379-0.825）， 50.0% and 25.0% ，those of the common factor-4 were 0.662（95%CI 0.458-0.867）， 55.6% and 66.7% ，respectively.The regression model hadan AUC of 0.949（95%CI 0.878-1.000），a sensitivityof 88.9%，and aspecificity of 83.3% ，inpredicting the expresion level of Ki-67 in hypopharyngeal carcinoma.Conclusion：The regression modelbasedonFS-TWItextureparametershashighdiagnosticvaluesforKi-67expressoninhypopharyngealcarcinoma.
