Spatial Differences and Characteristics of Agricultural Green Development in Ningxia

Abstract[Objective]TheYelow River Basin isan importantarea forhigh-qualityagricultural development in China. To studythe spatial differencesandcharacteristicsof greenagricultural developmentinNingxiaistoprovidescientific basis for ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.[Methods] ① According to the connotation of agricultural green development,the index system for evaluating agricultural green development atcounty level was constructed; ② The overall level of agricultural green development in 25 counties (municipalities and districts) in Ningxia from 2012 to 2021 was measured by entropy method; ③ The kernel density function is used to analyze the regional differences and spatial classification was carried out; ④ The temporal evolution characteristics were observedandanalyzed fromthree dimensions:resourcesaving,environmentalfriendlinessand qualityefficiency. [Results] ① The level of agricultural green development in 25 counties (municipalities and districts)in Ningxia showed an upward trend; ② The polarization of agricultural green development level in the region gradually weakened,and the spatial difference decreased; ③ The green development level of agriculture in the area along the Yellow River was high andthe other areas were low.[Conclusion] Agricultural green development is a complex concept that runs through the whole industrial chainof agricultural production,andthe practiceof agricultural green development should be guided bythe idea of "comprehensive promotion and key breakthrough".
