Abstract Thecurrnt situationof the development of theready-to-eat food industry in Ningxiaare analyzed and discussed,including thenew definitionofready-to-eatfood,thedevelopmenttrends,originsandregionsof thereadyto-eatfoodindustryworldwide,aswellasthegrowthstatusoftheready-to-eatfoodindustryinNingxia.Aimingatthe existingproblems facedby theready-to-eatfoodindustry withinthe Ningxiaregion.Inresponse to theproblems existing inthedevelopmentof theready-to-eat food industryinNingxia,some targeted high-qualitydevelopment strategysuggestionsare put forward from multiple aspects suchas howto expandthe industrial scale,improve product quality,promote technological innovation,build corresponding platforms,strengthen talentcultivationandadvance standardization work,aiming to layareference foundation for the sustained,healthyand rapid developmentof the ready-to-eat food industry in Ningxia.
