Abstract:Withthecontinuous developmentof shipinformation technology,automatic identificationsystem(AIS)playsan increasinglyimportantroleinmarine traficmanagementandshipnavigationsafety.Inthispaper,ashipidentificationmethodbasedonAISdataisproposedtosolvethe problemofmilitary-civilian typeidentificationofships.The method establishes asensitiveseaareamodelforthedistributionofkeypointsofshiptrajectories,calculatestheprobabilityofmilitary-civilian atributesofships,andconstructsacategoryclasifiertojudgethemilitary-civilianatributesofships.Theproposedmethod usescheap,al-domaincoverageandhigh frequencyAISinformationtoidentifythemilitaryandcivilian typesof ships, which can detectand warnthethreatening behaviors existing intheseaareainadvance,providesupportandauxiliarydecision-making for subsequent response and disposal.
