Abstract：Withthecontinuous developmentof shipinformation technology，automatic identificationsystem（AIS）playsan increasinglyimportantroleinmarine traficmanagementandshipnavigationsafety.Inthispaper，ashipidentificationmethodbasedonAISdataisproposedtosolvethe problemofmilitary-civilian typeidentificationofships.The method establishes asensitiveseaareamodelforthedistributionofkeypointsofshiptrajectories，calculatestheprobabilityofmilitary-civilian atributesofships，andconstructsacategoryclasifiertojudgethemilitary-civilianatributesofships.Theproposedmethod usescheap，al-domaincoverageandhigh frequencyAISinformationtoidentifythemilitaryandcivilian typesof ships， which can detectand warnthethreatening behaviors existing intheseaareainadvance，providesupportandauxiliarydecision-making for subsequent response and disposal.
