Abstract:TofurtherdeterminethequantitativerelationshipbetwensoilCdphytoavailabilityandFeoxidesunderfeldconditions,178 pairsfrownriceandrhzosperesoilsampleswerecolectdandanalyzedfromthetypicalCd-contaminatedpddyfeldsinGuagdong ProvinceofCnaetsoftraforatioofidsosilCdpoalabilityevestigatdndeprdictioelsfor soilCdphytoavlabilityintypicalpaddyfieldsofsoutheChinawereestablishedbasedonFeoxides.Theresultsshowedthaddysoil inthestudyareasuferedfrommoderatetosevereCdpollutionandimposdaghpotentialeologicaliskoagiculuralprouctio; Comparedwithdilutehydrochloricacid,DTPAandammoniumacetateextractionmethods,thesoilavailableCdcontentextractedby calciumchlorideextractionmethodCaCl-Cd)wasmostcloselyrelatedtothegrainCdcontent(Cdr);theCaCl-Cdcontentexhibiteda significanandpositivecoelationithtetotalFeotet(es)anddidasigiicanandegaiecoelatonwitteatioffreon oxide(Fed)toFs,eCdrtentsosigificatandposivecoelaonihFesotnt,egaieorelaionioththe FedandFeccontets,positivecelationiththeatiofmopousiooxide(Fe)toFedndsignificantandegatiecoeaion withtheratioofFedtoFes;thepredictionmodelsfsolCdphytoavailabilityouldbeusedtoacuatelypredictesoilavalableCdand grainCdcontentsinpadyfieldsofthisstudyandthevaluesofrootmeansquareerorbetweetepredictedvaluesandtheasured values were 0.034 and O.14, respectively.
