Effects of singleand composite contamination of polylactic acid microplastics and cadmium on wheat seed germination before and after ultraviolet aging

Abstract:Inordertoinvestigatethefectsofdegradablemicroplasticsbeforeandafteragingandtheircombiedpolutionwitheavy metalsonedgerinatioeat(iticmestiumL.)asseletedasteexperimentalplant,nddierentcotentsofpllacticacid microplastics(PLA,0,100,200,500,1000,2 000,5 000,10 000 mg kg-1 )and cadmium(Cd, 0, 0.3,3 mg·kg-1 )were used for single and compoundcontaminationofwheatsedgerminationexperiments.Theresultsshowedthatthesurface morphologyofPLAmicroplastics changedfromsmoothtooughduetoultravioletaging,andterewasasignfcantdifereceinthegerinationateofAonhatds beforeandafteraginginalltreatments.Thegerminationrateofheatsedswasbtween8O.0%\~96.7%,butneithersinglePLAaged polylacticacidmicroplastic(APLA)polutionorcompositeolutionhadanysignificantefectontegerminationrateofwhatsds. SinglePLA contaminationhad no significant effect onwheatbud length,but 5000mg⋅kg-1PLA significantlyinhibitedwheatroot length. (204号 200mg⋅kg-1 APLAsignificantlyinhibited malt growth,andtheinhibitionrate wasashigh as29.8%.Under thecombined contamination conditions of microplastics and Cd,PLA and 0.3mg⋅kg-1 Cd inhibited the bud length and root length of wheat,and 100 mg·kg-1 APLA and 3mg⋅kg-1Cd promoted the growth of wheat bud length to the greatest extent,at this time, 1.16cm , 0.3mg⋅kg-1 Cd and APLA compound treatmenthadageaterefectootlngthndtedierecebtwenthsortesandlongestotlengthas1.26c.Fooal pointfiewoftisexperient,thefectoficrolasticsandCdonthegerinationrateofwhatasbasicallantagonstchilete effect on the bud length and root length of wheat was basically synergistic.
