Determination of Impurity Content in Aluminum Silicon Alloy by Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectroscopy

Abstract:Using thepretreatment method of alkali dissolutionacidificationand matrix matching method,a workingcurveisestablishedundertheoptimal instrumentparameters.Thecontentsof impurityelementssuchas silicon,magnesium,iron,copper,manganeseand zincin aluminum silicon alloyare determinedbyinductivelycoupled plasmaemissionspectrometer.Element interference test andsolutionacidity testareconducted to determine the detection limitsof each elementas silicon element 0.0097% ,magnesiumelement 0.005 3% ,ironelement 0.004 4%, copper element 0.0016% ,manganese element 0.000 3% ,zincelement 0.000 7% .Therepeatabilityand accuracy of the curve are verified,and the spiked recovery rate of the measured samples is 94% to 106%
