Design and Experiment of a Gantry-type Electric Crawler Work Vehicle

Abstract:Aimingatthe operational scenarios in hill farmland characterized byhighlyconstrained heightsand the need to traverse crops,for which traditional crawler work platformsareunsuitable,a gantry-type electric crawler work vehicle was designed to offr bothoperational rangeextensibilityand terrain adaptability.Firstly,basedon design requirements,the vehicle's design parameters were determined and its working principle was elaborated.Subsequently,thecrawlerchasss,gantry frame,andcontrol system of the work vehicle were designed in detail.Finally,a prototype was developed and subjected to performance tests,including straight-line driving,stering,and obstacle-crosing capabilities.The experimental results indicate that the designed gantry-type electric crawler work vehicle meets operational requirements. It can provide a platform for subsequent research involving mounted operation modules such as sprayers and robotic arms for tasks like plant protection and harvesting.This ofers an efficient and versatile mechanized solution for hilly farmland operations and advances the intellgent development of agricultural equipment.

农业机械化、智能化是实现农业现代化的重要支撑,然而当前我国农业生产仍面临地形复杂、地块碎片化、劳动力短缺等挑战,尤其在丘陵山地、温室大棚及小型农田中,传统轮式机械存在通过性差、接地比压大等问题,而人工劳作效率低下且成本高昂,严重制约了农业生产效率的提升。(剩余4995字)
