Research on the Co-construction and Sharing of Donated Resources in University Libraries Based on Private Collection Sharing

Abstract This paper investigatesvarious models of private book sharing under the broader context of the sharing economy.It argues thatuniversity libraries should expand theconcept of private collction sharing to promote the collborative constructionandshared useof donated resources.To this end，the paper proposesseveral development strategies：broadening the scopeof donations tobuild distinctivecolections;emphasizing interaction andsharing to facilitate thecirculationof donated materials；andactively participating in thecampus-basedreuse of second-hand textbooks.Lookingahead，itisessntialtofurther explore the motivations behindreaderparticipation inesourcesharing and to seek pathways for sustainable development.
