【AbstractOligodendrocytes(OLs)playacrucialroleinthecentralnervoussystem,andthe myelinsheath formedbythemissetial formaintaining thenormalfunctionofthenervoussystem.Damagetothemyelinsheathcantriggrvariousnervoussystemdiseases, whichseriouslyectthequalityoflifeofpatints.Clemasti,traditioalatiistamine,assowncerainpotentialin“repposing olddrugs”inrecentyearsandcanpromotetherepairofmyelinsheath.Thisarticlesummarizestheroleofclemastineinregulatingthe diferentiationaturationesencendapoptosisfOLsatultiplelvelsbyctingoreceptosonthOLmembraneadglat ingthekesignalingpathwaysincellandepgeneticmodificationsinteucleus.Adeeperunderstandingoftemechanismofaction of clemastineinOLscan help toprovidenewtargetsandnew approachesfordrug treatmentof myelin-degenerativediseases.
