Evaluation and Analysis of the Management Urgency of Typical Plantation Forest in Longnan Area- -Taking Qinghe Forest Farm in Longnan of Gansu Province as an Example

Abstract：Aiming to providea basis for the sustainable management of artificial forests in Qinghe forest farm，theurgency index of typical artificial forest management inLongnan area was analyzed in this paper. From two aspects of stand spatial and non-spatial characteristics，including ten indicators，12 small plots in four forest compartments of Qinghe forest farm in Longnan of Gansu province were evaluated.In view of thedifferent urgency of stand management insmall plots，the irationalityof tree speciescomposition，tree distribution patern and stratification，etc.，it wassuggested that management measures such as "thinning for light + shrub cutting"and "thinning + shrub cutting + pruning" should be adopted to adjust the tree crowding degreeand optimize thespatial configuration of the forest for providinga theoretical basis for the construction ofahealthy，stable，high-quality and efficient forest ecosystem.
