Effects of Different Culture Substrates on the Growth of Armillariamellea

Abstract:Armillaria mellea usedas experimental material,which were provided bythe College ofLife Sciences,Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University.The efects of different nutrient components on mycelial growth rate,biomass and colony morphology wereanalyzed by gradient regulation of carbon sources (maizena,potato,sucrose),nitrogen sources (peptone)and inorganic salts (potassium dihydrogen phosphate, magnesium sulfate).The results showed that the optimal culture substrate for A. mellea growth was the combination of potato 100g∙L-1+ maizena 60g∙L-1+ soybean flour 10g⋅L-1+ glucose peptone 3g⋅L-1+ potassium dihydrogen phosphate 2g∙L-1+agar6g∙L-1 ,the rhizomorphs obviously grew all over the whole culture tube,uniformly coloured white in width and with rapid growth,up to 0.43cm⋅L-1 : Besides,the rhizomorphs were stored for half a year at room temperature with a bright colour and lustre.The growth of the rhizomorphswasrapid after further transfered.
