Science & Technology Finance，Technological Innovation，and New Quality Productive Forces： AnEntrepreneurialSpiritPerspective

Abstract：Against the backdropof building China intoafinancial powerhouseand vigorouslydeveloping new quality productiveforces，the efectiveutilizationof scienceandtechnologyfinance has becomeacriticalissue.Using paneldata from 287 Chinese cities between 2O13 and 2O23，this study empiricall examines the impact of science and technology financeonnewqualityproductive forces.Thefindings demonstrate that scienceandtechnology finance significantly contributes tothe development of new qualityproductive forces，with technological innovationserving asacrucial mediating mechanism in thisrelationship.Entrepreneurial spirit exertsapositivemoderating efectonthe beneficial impact of scienceand technology financeonnewqualityproductiveforces throughtechnological innovation.The study furtherreveals that wheninstitutional environments reach certainthreshold levels，the promoting effectof sienceand technology finance onnew qualityproductive forces becomes substantially stronger.Inaddition to geographical factors， governmentsupportanddigital transformation emergeas significantdeterminantsof newqualityproductive forces development.These results suggest that policymakers should not only increase investments in science and technology financeand enhance technological innovationcapabilities，butalsopaygreateratention tocultivating entrepreneurial spirit and optimizing institutional environments.
