The Impact of Technological Transaction Network Position on Enterprise Total Factor Productivity: The Enabling Role ofWhole-ProcessInnovationandModerating EffectofEntrepreneurial Spirit

Abstract:Technological transactionscancompensate for technologicaldeficienciesandoptimize technological structures withinenterprises,playingasignificantroleinenhancing total factorproductivity(TFP).UsingdatafromChineselisted companies(2OO7-2023),this study examines howacity'spositionintechnological transactionnetworksafects enterprise TFP.The findings indicate that a prominent position in technological transactionnetworks significantly enhances enterprise TFP,withbothin-degreecentralityandout-degree centralitydemonstrating statisticallysignificant positive efects.Mechanism analysis reveals thatunder internal strengthening and external spilover mechanisms,such network positions promote TFP growth through multiple innovation dimensions,including human capital enhancement,R&D allocationoptimization,collaborativeinnovationfacilitation,knowledgespilloveracceleration,andinnovation commercialization,whileentrepreneurial spiritpositivelymoderates thisentireprocessbyamplifying network effects. Furthermore,theseefectsvarysignificantlyaccording tocitytier,industrycompetitionintensityenterprisedigitalphysical integration level,and corporate lifecycle stage.
