Abstract: Drawing on social information processng theory,this study investigates therelationship betweensecure-base leadershipand employee work engagement,focusing onthemediatingroleof psychologicalownershipandthemoderating efectoffeedback-seeking behavior.Analysis ofdatafroma two-wave,time-lagged surveyof394 participantsusing SPSS 26.0 and AMOS26.O yielded the following findings: Secure-base leadership hasa positive impact on employee work engagement; employee psychological ownership partially mediates the relationship between secure-base leadershipand work engagement;feedback-seeking behavior positively moderates both the direct relationship between secure-base leadershipand psychological ownership,aswellas theindirect efectofsecure-baseleadershiponwork engagementvia psychological ownership.This research provides novel insights into the mechanisms linking secure-base leadership and employee work engagement and offers practical strategies fororganizations to foster greater employee engagement.
