Abstract：Under the new development paradigm，the construction of urbanagglomerations has become akeydriver of regional greenand coordinated development.Thispaper takesA-share listedcompanies intheYangtzeRiver Delta region as its research subjects and investigates the impact of urban agglomeration development on green innovation among enterprises locatedatprovincialboundaries.Theresearch findsthat the developmentof theYangtzeRiver Deltaurban agglomeration significantlypromotesgren inovationin boundary enterprises.Mechanismanalysis indicatesthatthe developmentof theYangtze River Deltaurban aglomeration strengthens environmental regulation in border areas and improves theconditions of production factors for enterprises，thereby enhancing the levelof green innovation among boundaryenterprises.Furtheranalysisrevealsthatthepositiveefectof YangtzeRiverDeltaurbanagglomeration development on the green innovation of boundary enterprises is more pronounced in regions where local governments demonstrate astronger senseofintegration，among major tax-contributing enterprises，and within industrialenterprises.
