Regional Disparities and Spatio-Temporal Evolution ofNew Quality Productivity ForcesDevelopment in the Yangtze RiverEconomic Belt： BasedonRoughSetandUncertaintyModel

Abstract：Thedevelopment of newqualityproductive forces iscrucialforachieving high-qualitydevelopment.This essay，grounded insystems theory，constructsan indicator system to assess the development level of new quality productivity forces intheYangtzeRiver Economic Belt through thedimensionsof elements，structure，and function， employig acomprehensive multi-indicator measurement approach thatintegrates time-weighted rough settheory with an uncertaintymodel，whilealso examining regional disparitiesand spatio-temporalevolution paternsusing theDagumGini coeffcientand kerneldensity estimation.Research findings： theoveralldevelopmentof newqualityproductivityforces in theYangtzeRiver Economic Belt isonanupwardtrajectory，with the highest levelsobserved in thedownstreamregions， followed bythe midstreamandupstreamregions;however，regional disparities persist as the primarysource of overall disparities，although thepolarization between theseregions isgraduallydiminishing，andtheevaluation levels in10 provinces，excluding Yunnan，areconsistentlyimproving，exhibiting atrendof“being higherintheeastthan inthe west， andhigherinthenorth thaninthesouth".Theresearch findingsoferpolicyrecommendations forthecustomized development of new quality productivity forces within the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
